Pearly Cow at the recently opened No 124 by Guesthouse boutique hotel on Kings Road, Brighton is serving up ’Taco Club’ every Thursday from 4-6.30pm, writes Nick Mosley.
Providing a fun and informal alternative to afterwork drinks in the pub, its perfect for team-building or hosting clients within the stylish cocoon of Brighton’s ground-breaking new luxury seafront hotel. Easily accessible for professionals in the area, its a convenient choice for after-work meetings. The Thursday timing aligns well with the typical working week, providing a relaxed yet professional atmosphere to discuss ongoing projects, explore new opportunities or strengthen client relationships.
Priced at £15, guests can pick two handmade tacos from the menu – including roasted pepper and goats cheese, salted cod and crab, and beef fillet with pomegranate and mustard – and a margarita of your choice. Those wishing to extend the experience can also add the Clever Cow set menu that is available Monday-Friday from 5-7.30pm and Friday lunchtimes. Diners can choose from four starters, mains and desserts with two course for £28 or three for £32.
Independently owned, No 124 by Guesthouse opened in late 2024 on Brighton seafront alongside the Metropole hotel. Featuring 32 premium bedrooms for visitors, their lounge bar and Pearly Cow restaurant are open to all from breakfast until late. The Fieldtrip Spa launches in February with a seafacing terrace complete with pizza oven and outdoor bar joining the offering in the spring.
